Keipos uses food, farming, and education to transform lives. That means we:
In 2017 we will be growing food for 60+ families in need on two new Papillion Keipos Gardens. We will be working with the city of Papillion, the Juvenile Justice Center in Sarpy County, the Garden Givers Group, the Tri-City Food Pantry and Heartland Family Services to distribute the food and provide classes to the public. We will also be providing programming and education at our local Juvenile Detention Center. Learn more here.
What is this? It’s life lived together.
It’s working to exhaustion alongside people. Young people, old people. People who believe differently from us, people who believe similar to us. Energetic people, tired people. Healthy people, hurting people. People who are learning, people who are teaching.
It’s sharing the table with others. Others who are hungry, others who thirst. Others who are weak, others who are strong. Others who receive, others who give.
It’s prayer, shared. Prayers recited, prayers offered. Prayers spontaneous, prayers formal. Prayers of thanks, prayers of pleading. Prayers not asked for, prayers necessary.
It’s working and living towards a common goal. A goal, a hope, of sharing. Of feeding. Of rejoicing. Of healed land and of healed hearts. Of unity. Of love.
It’s working for the glory of God in the name of Jesus. In all things. Through all things. We co-labor with Him in His redemptive work in our heart, our city and our world.

From our Heart
We utilize New Earth Farm & Goods as our main training center for continuing education, workshops and demonstrations. Our 12-week internship program provides hands-on training for people seeking to serve in our city or underdeveloped countries using permaculture design, agriculture, animal husbandry, horticulture, appropriate technologies, and community development from a biblical worldview.
To the World
Beginning with our work in Nicaragua, working with the community of Santa Martha de Loma Azul in partnership with a few churches, Water For People and the local Nicaraguan municipality, we are helping to bring clean water, sanitation, and education to the community. We have installed rainwater catchment systems, built clean ovens, stoves, fish systems, and gardens. We have seen a divided community come together through Vacation Bible Schools and pastor's conferences, bringing catholics and evangelicals together.
